Trevor Plagg
Hi. I am a professional Marketer and Designer in the Grand Rapids area. I have a Bachelor’s degree of Fine Arts from Kendall College of Art and Design.
I balance my day job as a marketing lead and designer for ZZPerformance, while also staying busy in my own creative pursuits and passions under “plaggdesigns.” What has been a lifelong hobby of mine has turned into a full time career as well as a side business that allows me to constantly develop and hone my skills.
My creative approach is to find the problem, then design the solution. This comes from my Industrial Design background and general mechanical knowledge. Function drives form, and both aspects motivate me to find the balance between the two. The extension of my design side is marketing. While I love creating great design, products, and content, that is only half of the project. Bringing everything to market is something I keep in mind every step of my process, and tailor my materials for the desired consumer. Beyond that I am always watching and studying analytics to better future marketing based on those statistics.
I love working closely with people, and attack projects once the brief is curated by all parties involved. Beyond my own personal passion projects, I’m always looking to help others solve their own problems with improved design and greater marketing outreach.
